What I officially know

First and foremost, I finished an apprenticeship as Telematiker.

I’ve passed several Microsoft exams, which give me MCSE credentials on Windows Server 2003, participation in the Windows Server 2008 beta exams gave me the MCITP Server Administrator & Enterprise Administrator credentials.

I’ve also passed several IBM exams, relating to both the IBM i and the System x.

What I do in my spare time

Besides the usual stuff someone my ages does, i also try to participate in the IT online community.

I usually lurk, and sometimes post to a variety of newsgroups, the midrange.com lists, the german MCSEBoard and a variety of other communication forms.

About this blog

If you’re wondering why my blog in in English and not in German, the reason is pretty simpled. I’ve stumbled upon a variety of pages with interesting stuff on them, but many of them were in languages i do not understand. As English is pretty much the standard language of the Internet, most people will be able to understand it.

The posting frequency i tried to achieve was one post per working day - of course this didn’t work out in the long term.
